Highway Four in the Jemez

A small part of State Highway 4, in the midst of the red rocks of the Jemez. I stopped here to take photos of a Jemez Mountain Trail kiosk that uses several of NewMexicoPhotos' shots (you can see some of them here).

On another note, NewMexicoPhotoJournal will be taking a well-deserved vacation until the second week of September (out in the field taking photos, of course, but not in New Mexico this time). Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we'll see you in September!

I LOVE your blog! Thanks for so many beautiful and wonderful photos!
We just moved to El Paso a year ago from Washington State and have been traveling all over New Mexico, in our spare time. Your blog has been most helpful in places to visit. We plan on living in New Mexico when my husband retires from the military...we love it so much. It is a beautiful state with so many unique places to visit.
Thanks again!
